Narine bowled the game-changing over - the 18th with 2 runs and the wicket of Bravo and young Shohidul Islam kept his nerve to defend 9 in the final over. Barishal will be gutted especially after the start they got and with the way Shykat Ali played, he outscored Gayle and was severe on anything loose. But his wicket and that of Gayle's and Shakib's turned the game. Don't forget Mustafizur's 19th over as well - he gave Shohidul Islam enough to defend off the final over. A classic T20 game and Comilla are champions of the Bangladesh Premier League for the third time.
Imrul Kayes | Comilla skipper: It's an incredible match, I never expected to win but thanks to the almighty. We started very well but so many mistakes in the middle, after that Moeen and Rony Hider finished well. Shykat started fantastically, our bowlers did very well in the middle overs. This type of final you need to be brave and cool, if you are that, you will be successful. Sunil and Faf helped a lot in the field, was a total team work. Bowlers have done really well, especially Sunil and Tanvir Islam, both teams though made mistakes with the ball and in the field.
Sunil Narine | Player of the Match: I think this (achievement) is the most important. At the start of the tournament, this is where you want to end up. Credit goes to all the boys. The wicket assisted a bit, and the pressure of the game helped a bit. Good effort from the guys, they deserve it. It was too close for comfort, but the spectators got what they wanted and in the end cricket is the winner. Looking forward to coming back next time.
Shakib Al Hasan | Player of the Series: Was a very good game of cricket, both teams made mistakes, but in the end Comilla held their nerves, credit goes to them. Shykat Ali played a great innings, it was a good game for him. But in the end we couldn't get over the line. We came back really well after Sunil's innings. Credit goes to our bowlers to come back from that situation, they have bowled really well throughout the tournament. It's not easy bowling in the last 2-3 overs. Credit goes to Sunil for that over. We have to come back stronger next year. It was a good tournament for me personally but I would have loved to lift the trophy more than being the Man of the Series.
